Daughter of renowned Canadian jazz musician John Alcorn, Coco Love Alcorn's self-titled CD could most defintiely aid a romantic evening. Performing since the age of 16, the crisp sensuous-voiced young woman won a scholarship to Berklee before even finishing high school. Now 21, her debut album includes a half a dozen original jazz-pop tunes. The rest are standards given quite unusual renderings. The album was produced by Grammy-nominee and Juno Award winner Rick Kilburn.
