Maren, age 17, is number eight in a family of ten children. She comes from a musical family where her father is a music professor, and mother teaches voice and piano. Maren as a small child could sing before she could talk. She has studied voice, piano, guitar and has performed her own compositions from the age of 14. All the while Maren has been an honor roll student and a leader at school. Her focus now of course, is to sign with a major record label and have an opportunity to continue to write and perform. Record labels from all over the world have expressed interest in Maren. She continues to hope she will find the "right" label to help her develop into the artist she desires. For the moment, Maren is performing at various venues with her band: Harley Symington on guitar, Lyle Molzan on drums, Paul Shihadeh on bass, and Chris Andrew on keyboard.
