LIFEbeat is a non-profit AIDS resource and awareness organization dedicated to mobilizing the talent of the music industry in order to:
-provide grants to community-based service organizations.
-establish innovative ways to disseminate information on HIV/AIDS and AIDS-related services.
-empower members of the music industry living with HIV/AIDS by offering access to information, services and financial assistance.
LIFEbeat's ultimate goals are both to prevent the transmission of HIV and help people living with HIV/AIDS. Through our education programs, we hope for zero cases of HIV transmission. Until there is a cure, the board, staff and volunteers share a vision that, through LIFEbeat grants, all people living with HIV/AIDS can receive the necessary services from their respective community organizations.
