Contest Two: What day would you choose?
We have our winners. Here's what they were faced with:
Have a look at all the dates that Lilith is scheduled to play. Which one show would you most like to see? Would it be the Gorge, WA show because it was first and because of the setting. Or how about Vancouver as it is the last show, but with a still mysterious lineup? What about one of those two shows that Sheryl Crow pops in for?
And here is what they had to say:
I think that my top show would have to be the Raleigh, NC show, which I saw on Wednesday the 30th of July, because I was there and it was an amazing night for myself, my sister, and our friends. All the performers were so perfect and the show turned out to be so much more than I had ever expected. My experience at the Lilith Fair was wonderful, and it's so great that there is now a showcase for all the female talent out there.

All I've ever seen of Vancouver are postcards. But the depth in them that belies simple photography; the serene calling which caresses my female intuition compells me to decide that Vancouver is indeed the show I would love to see.
There is something about a last show which draws forth the zenith of performance from each person who has contributed along the way. The "end" does not just serve as a sweet closure, but transgresses into a rebirth, as well as a legacy, and a source of inspiration.
To witness that .. to share in the celebration...
It would be divine.
-Angela Epley
They'll both be sent an autographed copy of Surfacing and a Lilith Fair tshirt. Thanks to all who entered.
Contest One: What does Lilith Fair mean to you?
We have our winners, in case you missed it in really big letters on the main page. But don't let that stop you from telling us what Lilith means to you. We'll share your responses with others at the end of the tour.
Stay tuned for our next contest coming soon!
It could mean just good music with some great musicians. Or maybe you feel a closer bond with the concept. You tell us. But do it in 100 words or less. We all suffer from attention deficit disorder and can't read anything longer.
There will be two winners. One winner, chosen completely at random, will receive a Lilith Fair tshirt. The other winner, you lucky sod, will win two general admission tickets to the Lilith Fair concert of their choice. You might want to pick one near you because we are only giving you the tickets. You have to get there. Of course if you live somewhere that Lilith isn't coming near, you can always give them to a friend somewhere else. Wouldn't that be nice of you?
Deadline for entries is Sunday, June 22 at 12:00 noon EDT. Winners will be announced Tuesday, June 24.
All entries become the property of Lilith Fair and we can do whatever we want with them. Which means that we are going to post a selection of entries that we like.
Contest is open to residents of Canada and the United States. We don't care how old you are, you can do whatever you want with the tickets. One entry per person. We'll check this, so don't try to cheat your way to success. This isn't the real world, you know.
When you are ready, send us an email with your answer. Thanks and good luck!
