Wantagh, NY

I've lived in Manhattan for almost two years now, but this was the first time i had been out to Jones Beach. It's a smaller venue compared to most of the others we have been playing, which is odd, since it's our main New York City area show. I thought for sure we would end up doing two shows there. But once there you realize why you aren't staying there for more than one day - who would want to?

Today was my last day on Lilith, at least for a week or two. I have to go back to our new york office and work on a few other things for now. So like the rest of you, i'll be experiencing Lilith through the site. Except i'll still be doing the coding for it, just from my bedroom or my office. Depends what time of day it is.

It wasn't easy saying goodbye to all my new Lilith friends today, but it wasn't too hard because i'll be back at some point. But still, i will miss the friendship and shared sense of duty that everyone had.

Most of all i will miss the nettmedia team. everyone has been working their butts off (which makes them easy to spot in a crowd) and doing a great job.

but it's great to be home, even if it is just for a week or so. seeing nessa and the kittens is quite a good feeling.

Hartford, CT

It's more or less my last full day out here for awhile. I have to go back to New York to take care of some other Nettmedia/Nettwerk things that we are working. I was hoping to be able to deal with Lilith and our other projects while on the road, but Lilith is just so all consuming. There is no time for anything else. I'll still be doing quite a bit of work on the site while in New York and I hope to be back with everyone in a week or two.

Sorry i haven't written more in my diaries, but i have also been doing all the writing for the daily news pages so by the time it gets time to do my diary i have already said everything that i am going to say for the day.

a couple of us went to Northhampton, MA yesterday on our day off. Northhampton was great. we had a much better experience than those who stayed in Hartford. first our hotel rooms weren't ready. so we all waited. then they still weren't ready. people started to get antsy. and then they still weren't ready. tired, smelly crew and band weren't that happy. then when they finally got in the phone lines weren't working. now i find out that a modem i had fedexed there has been there for two days but no one at the front desk told me. let's just say we won't be using the holiday inn in hartford again.

and then there was nothing to do in hartford. so we were told. but we had plenty to do in northhampton. lots of great little shops, more vegetarian restaurants per capita than most anyplace i had been to, and beautiful scenery. tres cool. i bought vanessa a very beautiful necklace at one of the little jewelery shops there. hopefully she won't read this, as i won't see her until tomorrow to give it to her.

thanks to beth for taking me on your little side trip.
