Love is in the air tonight. Holy cow. You should hear people cheer. There hasn't been this much noise at the Gorge since they blasted out the side of a mountain to put in this place. Tracy's finishing her set and then Sarah will bring a long and successful day to a close. There will be more noise.

9:00PM PDT

Jewel just left the stage to some very rousing cheers. That's the spirit Washington. We're down to Tracy and Sarah. The sun has begun to set and our sunburns are now starting to hurt. But that's what rock and roll is all about.

6:30PM PDT

Kinnie Starr, Leah Andreone, Lauren Hoffman, MudGirl, and now Suzanne Vega on the main stage. What a day. The scariest thing is that there is still four and a half hours to go. It's going to take us a month to sort through the multimedia just for today. Coming up next: Cassandra Wilson, Paula Cole, and Jewel.

3:40PM PDT

The press conference has just wound down (plenty of photos and some video to come). we're now all running over to the Village Acoustic Stage to catch Sarah's special opening performance. We'll stick around for Lauren Hoffman after that.

1:00PM PDT

There's nothing left to happen today except for the show. However, the Lilith crew members might dispute that claim. Beginning at 5:30am the production for our first show swung into high gear. Riggers were climbing scaffolding to hang banners, trucks were unpacked, and breakfast was wolfed down between back breaking tasks.

Sarah is currently showing a CBS:This Morning crew around The Gorge. You can see the results of that little tour Sunday morning on CBS.

As you may have noticed from some of our pictures and videos the Gorge is an absolutely beautiful place for a show. And if the weather holds, which it looks like it will, today will be the perfect kick off for a very special summer.
