The bad evil weather monster has not visited us today. There were a few drops earlier, but nothing that even made anyone start to worry. About the only thing that got an unexpected shower today was one of the computers in the Lilith Centre. Some yahoo, obviously in a public place for the first time in his life, pour a cup of beer into one of the machines. Needless to say he won't be on the guest list next year.

There was no press conference today. Don't know if it was too early for the artists or the press. Maybe both. We'll have to ask some of the questions that you sent us when we get to Kansas City.

Remember our catering scorecard? Today was a big loss. Someone obviously did not understand the term "vegan". There are quite a few on the tour. And lots of vegetarians. You can tell who is vegetarian pretty easily today. We're all the ones looking hungry. Current catering record: 3 wins, 2 losses, one tie.

The crowd is a little quietier than usual today. it might be because everyone is stretched out on blankets. it might be the thin mountain air. we're not sure. it's not a bad a crowd by any stretch of the imagination. just a little different than we've been getting.

There are lots of other things to do here at winter park. there's the rides up the side of the mountain, mini golf, a kinda go kart slide, plenty of stores, and there's even a concert happening. Go figure.

Oh, how could we forget...a big welcome to Fiona Apple, Wild Colonials, Tara MacLean, Kim Fox, and Garrison Starr. We've very happy to have you all with us.

It's a weird day today. First the "venue" is really a ski hill that has a stage that was built this morning at the end of it. There are no seats. You just sit on the hill. I guess they probably call them mountains around here. Secondly everything is starting so bloody early. Tara MacLean is on first and that is at 10:55. And then there is the second stage. There isn't one. Tara, September 67, and Wild Colonials are all on the main stage.

We'll head over to the press conference which is taking place at 10:00am. Can't wait to see who shows up for this one.

The weather is gorgeous this morning. Mountain air is refreshing. It's not too hot, either, but then it is nine am. We were told to be prepared for heavy rain, wind, and hail. There's still time for that, but it is perfect right now.
