It gets hot in Detroit in July. Remember that next time you plan a summer festival here. Bring lots of water. Garrison Starr and Kim Fox played their last sets with us today. The Village Stage is located over by where people by beer. In Detroit that seems to be a very popular spot.

The Wild Colonials also ended their Lilith Second stage stay. Lots of people were there to see their set. And they didn't even know it was a special set. Tara MacLean played three times today. Once was a couple of songs just for us. We'll share some clips from that with you soon. Her second performance was a special appearance on the Village Stage. And then Tara moved over to the second stage for her last gasp at Lilithdom. With three sets today she went out with a bang.

Victoria Williams held the second stage crowd in the palm of her hand. She is a someone very unique. It even looked like she and her band were making up songs at one point. We are looking forward to the upcoming days with her. I suspect that it won't be the same set twice.

10:00AM EDT

Some new bands joining us today. The Cardigans pop onto the main stage and Victoria Williams (yay!) takes the top slot on the second stage. From the faxes Victoria has sent us so far regarding the web site we really look forward to meeting her.

Other than that, i know you won't believe this, the weather is sunny and warm. Not hot. At least not yet. It's supposed to go up to 88 (31 for those of us who have taken the time and effort to learn the proper way of telling temperature) with a few clouds.
