Wow. On a tour of consistently great shows, the fans in Detroit gave us a present with their enthusiasm and genuine affection for Sarah and the rest of the artists. In return, the fans got one of the best shows we've witnessed in the two weeks of Lilith. We haven't heard this much screaming since the Canucks lost game six a few years ago. And we didn't need riot police tonight. Thanks Detroit. It was a blast.

Sarah was so excited after the show she couldn't stand still. She was jumping around backstage like she had just won the lottery. If people do indeed jump when they win the lottery. This was really the best moment of the tour for her.

The Cardigans got a great response, too. As someone said earlier today, they still have something fresh and new about them. You can tell that they are having fun. And after just two shows.

Special treats await us tomorrow. Tracy Chapman is back with us. Autour de Lucie and Holly Cole also come aboard. And Camille Henderson is doing a special set of her own on the village acoustic stage at 3:30. You think Sarah was excited tonight, wait until you see Camille tomorrow. Same thing, but in a different way.

Tracy's set was fantastic today. She even tourned to her guitarist during the set and said "Rock on!" Good thing i took that lip reading course.

Most of the 16,000 plus people are here now. Things really start to fill up after 6pm, which is too bad because some great performances are missed during the earlier part of the day. Sure it's the mainstage acts that bring them in, but if you want to see some of the bigger names in the next few years, you should really try to get here a little earlier. Most days the Lilith crew have the different stages set up so that is quite easy to move from one to another. The people in the lawn seats can quite easily see the two bigger stages with little effort.

5:30PM EDT

It's great playing two shows in one place. We actually got to sleep in today as our bus call wasn't until noon. Usually it is 6:30AM. Everything is already set up and ready to go, so today is going fairly fast, which is why we are so late in getting this up.

Autour De Lucie were supposed to start today but Valerie blew her voice out at another show the other day, so they are joining us tomorrow and Kim Fox stayed for one more day before making a mad dash to her next show somewhere else.

Tracy Bonham finishes up her Lilith stint today. I think we'll all pop out from the bus for a few minutes and see her set today. She came by the bus a little while ago to check out the site and see what all the fuss was about.

Joining the tour today are Alisha's Attic and Lori Carson. Time to go make some new friends.
