I know it's late for this, but what can you do when you can't sleep. It was Dan Garnett's birthday today. We had a little party for him after the show. Mayhem ensued. You'd never believe that this was Lilith given the amount of cake that went flying through the air. Most of it landed on Dan. And what didn't land on Dan found a home on Sarah's face. Fortunately we were there with a camera. You'll just have to wait for the pictures, but we assure you that they will be worth it.

It's kind of nice playing smaller places. Even though Lilith is a very special event, there is a feeling of it being even more special when it's held in a place that maybe doesn't get every huge concert that is out on the road this summer. Canandaigua had that feel.

Tracy's first show back was a hit. She can do no wrong up on the stage. Paula's show was great. There was even some guy yelling all through it. Which is actually more annoying than good, but what can you do? Fiona go the crowd into her set. We didn't actually see it today as we were working like dogs for you, but we heard it and the crowd. They liked it. The Cardigans are getting better and better everyday. It's their third show with us and they really seem like they are having fun. Sarah and her band kept the crowd on their feet all night. The main stage was cooking tonight and for a change it wasn't because of the heat.

Holly Cole turned in an energetic set to top off the activity on the second stage. It was actually her second show (and last show) on Lilith, but since our tour books were wrong (ahem!) we missed her yesterday. Cathy ran out and got some video from her show. Thanks for coming out Holly! Victoria Williams was eclectic, as usual, and very grateful that we didn't film her set today. She'll give us something special in Boston.

Lori Carson had the crowd mesmerized on the acoustic stage. Everyone was quiet and attentive during her set. Except Jana who was taking pictures. Bob reports that Alisha's Attic were very good. They said that they normally don't perform acoustically like this, so they have had to change their songs around a bit, but they still were having a good time.

5:00PM EDT

We all just got back from Camille's first solo Lilith performance. She has such a beautiful voice and sings with Sarah so well. It was just great to hear her on her own on the Village Acoustic stage. Her songs are very personal and touched quite a few of the people in attendance. Playing in her band were Sarah's guitarist David Sinclair, and the one and only Brian Minato who is also Sarah's bass player. Thanks to Camille for sharing her talent with everyone today.

The sad news, especially for us nettwerkers, is that Autour de Lucie were unable to perform today. Valerie's voice is strained so bad that she can barely speak. They also missed yesterday, which was to be their first Lilith show. We talked to some of the band members who could speak and they are kind of down about it but they hope that Valerie will be able to perform on Tuesday in Boston. So do we.

1:15PM EDT

You know i actually get paid to come up with these headlines. So we're in the town of Canandaigua today, or as we say on the tour: Rochester. The campus is beautiful. The weather seems perfect. The venue is cool, if a little small, which often makes for a great show as things can be a little more intimate than usual for a show this size. Welcome back to Tracy Chapman. And hello to Holly Cole and Autour de Lucie.
