The New York Daily News has already referred to the initial Lilith Fair roster as "the strongest lineup of women performers in festival history." That lineup just got stronger.

Tracy Chapman, Joan Osborne and Sheryl Crow have joined Lilith Fair, the all women festival tour organized by Sarah McLachlan and her management. Previously announced artists include Shawn Colvin, Jewel, Paula Cole, Fiona Apple, The Cardigans, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Indigo Girls, Emmylou Harris and Suzanne Vega. Set to kick off July 5 at The Gorge in Central Washington state, Lilith Fair will play 35 dates lasting through the end of August.
