 Tuesday, July 14, 1998 New York, New York There was a soiree for Sarah at the Boathouse in NYC/Central Park today. I was running late trying to do all the craziness that comes with envisioning going on the road for a month. I missed Clive Davis' (the head of Arista, my former company) speech and presentation to Sarah of 3X platinum plaques for SURFACING. I heard it was really great. I got there right after Sarah & co mpany left but I briefly got to see my Arista compadres. It was the first Arista event post my leaving (June 30) and the first Arista event I'd ever attended as a guest.
