 Sunday, July 26, 1998 West Palm Beach, Florida A typical day. Usually I get to my spot at the venue around 12 noon, bring my oils on my hand cart to the spot, drop it off, putt around for about an hour setting up a bit, listen to Sarah's soundcheck a bit, go to lunch, come back and finish setting up to be ready for doors to open by 3 p.m. We break down around 9 p.m. and we're usually finishing around the time Natalie Merchant is performing. Most of my b-girl "bins" are carted by the amazing Lilith staff but there is one bin that I carry back and forth myself with the oils in it. I try to watch Sarah's set which begins around 10:10 and ends at 11 p.m. Then I'll go hang out on the bus or walk around, etc. We usually depart from the venue between 12 & 12:30 a.m. For more information about B-girl, visit their website at http://www.bgirl.com |
