Saratoga Springs, New York

When Lane left the tour, I made kind of a mean comment about the way he constantly played Stereolab cd's. Well, my busmates probably want to kill me right now because I just can't stop playing this Litany CD! They're currently my favorite band, and whenever I get the chance I put the disc on. I've told everyone to just tell me if they want me to take it off, and no one's complained so far. I'm really glad I was working during their time on the tour, as otherwise I may have never discovered them!

Today was a fairly fun day. Aside from the showers, the venue here in Saratoga Springs was nice. The dining room was especially good. Rather than eat in the same backstage catering area as the mainstage bands and crews, we were in a separate building on the other side of the grounds. It seemed like the kind of place where you would have banquets or wedding receptions; there were chandeliers, nice table clothes, and the food was above average. It was quite a bit different than the normal catering areas, which often remind me of school cafeterias.

This is my last night on the bus for a while. Tomorrow at 10:15 I go back to Hoboken for a while. I'll be re-joining Lilith Fair in August; for the next few weeks I'll be working on the NY Nettmedia office on a bunch of enhanced CD project. But I'll hopefully be able to make it down to the two Maryland shows next weekend, as there's a few acts I want to see (such as Dead Girls and Other Stories and Holly McNarland).
