This is the same venue that I used to come to for shows. I've seen such bands as New Order, Duran Duran, and Van Halen here. So it's cool to be wandering around with an all-access pass.

I did a bunch of interviews today. First, Jennifer and I interviewed Kay from Letters To Cleo. I thought that it went really well, and I got lots of good information. Later in the day, I spoke with Abra Moore. That one too was good, though it was quite a bit shorter.

In the evening I saw Kate from Luscious Jackson eating dinner with the additional musicians the band uses for live shows. I thought it would be cool to do something on these "live members," as many fans are only familiar with the core studio line-up. I shot them on video, having each member introduce themselves and talk a little bit about their background. And it was funny because they wanted to do it WHILE they were eating rather than wait. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Tia, who plays various different instruments with the group , used to be the drummer for Sex Pod (a really great Hoboken band).

We're leaving the venue a bit early tonight to go back to the hotel. It's good to have a real bed for a change, especially since we have 5 days straight without a day off.
