 Tuesday, July 21, 1998 Virgina Beach, Virginia Okay, I know I said Phoenix was unbearably hot--I was wrong. This place was near 100 degrees and humid as hell. I was dripping with sweat constantly. Our computer was down again, making it difficult to get back on track after the Jone Beach. Merriweather Post fiasco. Alright, I'm done whining. On to topics of extreme sadness. I can no longer be in denial of the Indigo Girls departing our presence. They are gone for good and will be sorely missed. Their set was great as usual, complete with "going away/Emily's birthday tomorrow" cake. The whole entire audience sang Happy Birthday to Emily , along with handy crew members and Sarah McLachlan, bringer of said cake. It was very touching. Ouor than that I spent most of the day trying to remedy various problems, such as the computer, which is a huge one. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that amidst the sweltering heat our bus's A/C broke down, making it even hotter on the bus than outside! Okay, so I couldn't stop whining. I'm allowed to do that sometimes, I think. |
