 Monday, August 3, 1998 Nashville, Tennessee This was definitely a slower day. We were out of commission until 5:30pm because our bus was getting more repairs, and our office is our bus. We'll catch up on most things for tomorrow's show, though. Fortunately, I did manage to get Mary Chapin Carpenter. It's her one and only appearance on the tour so I'm glad of that. She played a fun, energized set that most people seemed to get out of their seats for. Natalie Merchant brought her swing out again for "Thank You," at which time Sarah McLachlan came out on stage and joined her in gracious singing. Quite sweet |
