Later at the Liz Phair Tower signing madness I was trying to talk to people and film some of the action. All of a sudden from somewhere in the crowd I hear someone yelling my name. I turned around and it was my old friend from Bloomington, Liza. We had spoken at Borders in Chicago right before I left for this tour. She had said she would probably be at Lilith Fair but we hadn't spoken again since to coordinate a meeting time. Then, she had left a note for me at the Lilith Center but our paths kept crossing. I knew she was a big Liz Phair fan so I thought I might see her at the Tower signing. I was right! Anyway, it was really neat seeing her because it had been a long time. Her friend Sarah was there and we all chatted for awhile before saying goodbye again.
