 Monday, August 10, 1998 Hershey, Pennsylvania Rain, rain and more rain. This was our first really rainy day, complete with thunder and lightening. It didn't stop until after dark, right around when Emmylou Harris started to play. I was finally able to take some pictures with the digital camera. It was sort of neat to see everyone in ponchos, makeshift raincoats and carrying umbrellas. I felt sorry for the crowd, but they seemed to handle it okay. I even saw people dancing, yelling and carrying on to Chantal Kreviazuk and she was on when it was raining the hardest. Dead Girls and Other Stories even made an appearance. They drove up from Washington DC to hang and catch the show. They seemed to be enjoying themselves despite the weather. It was neat to talk to them, because I had written about their set in my tour diary but hadn't gotten to talk to them. They thanked me for writing a good review, so I guess they're reading my diary on a regular basis, which is nice to know. I'm a little bit bummed that we didn't get any chocolate. . . . |
