 Saturday, June 20, 1998 George, Washington Day 2 of 84: 309 miles travelled, The Gorge, a frenetic day. The anticipation of 20,000 people makes for a busy day, and adds a little tension to everyone's workload. But everyone is stunned by the magnificent view of the Gorge and limitless sky that backdrops the stage. Sarah McLachlan rehearsed a beautiful rendition of "What's Goin' On" during soundcheck. Everyone is also very happy with the catering, including the vegetarians/vegans (and there are quite a few of them). |
