 Saturday, July 4, 1998 Indianapolis, Indiana Lilith Fair spent the July 4th holiday in Indianapolis, Indiana and what a holiday it was! It was the first day with semi-cool or at least bearable weather since LA. This, and the fact that it was July 4th, brought the energy up to 100%. The crowd ran around proudly sporting their American flags (not the most flattering of all attire but definetly full of spirit!) and they showed a sort of community of togetherness as they wished each other a happy July 4th. I think the performers felt this energy and brought it on because every artist gave an incredible performance. This brilliant evening was brought to a close with a surprise fireworks display. Now, that crowd left happy! |
