The venue has a completely different ambience today. There seem to be more people here on this very hot and sunny day and there's discernible energy in the air. The audience is much more interested in the B and village stage artists, especially for Mary Lou Lord, who gets song requests shouted up to her.

6:00 pm
Lisa Loeb is new to the tour, and starts off the main stage performances to a very appreciative crowd. She looks different than last year, but mainly because her hair is dark brown instead of streaked with blond, and she looks a little more --how should I say --buff.

8:00 pm
I've noticed this mood amongst the crew - I don't know if it's just impatience or road weariness, but everyone seems to be chugging along on automatic pilot, while probably thinking about going home. This has been a long haul for them,the tour hit the 2 month mark yesterday. I think the mood should improve considerably next week, when the light at the end of the tunnel will brighten, and they know it's just a matter of getting through a few more days before heading home.

Midnight
We spend some time on the bus with Aliza who's leaving us tonight. She seems to have had fun , and I'm happy to have been able to work with her and learn all about the work she does with Cybergrrl. I'm amazed at her drive and enthusiasm for her work and I'm very curious to read what she wrote about her experience on Lilith. We share hugs and make plans to keep in touch in New York City.
