LILITH FAIR AND TICKETMASTER TO PROVIDE ADVANCE CONCERT TICKETS TO FANS WHO PURCHASE TOUR'S LIVE COMPILATION ALBUMS VIA INTERNET & CHARGE-BY-PHONE IN USA

Beginning Mon., May 10, Lilith Fair and Ticketmaster will treat fans to an exclusive opportunity to purchase up to four advance concert tickets via Ticketmaster's website and Charge-By-Phone Network to select Lilith Fair tour dates when they pre-order the tour's compilation albums, Lilith Fair, A Celebration of Women in Music, Volumes 2 and 3. Advance tickets for the Lilith Fair will be made available via local Ticketmaster Charge-By-Phone numbers and via Internet at www.ticketmaster.com, to Lilith Fair CD buyers before the tickets go on sale to the general public on May 22. As Lilith Fair bids farewell at the conclusion of its '99 tour, the Ticketmaster pre-sale offers fans an exclusive opportunity to see this group of top artists together on tour for the very last time.
Fans who pre-order Lilith Fair, A Celebration of Women in Music, Volumes 2 and 3 between May 10-17 (or until the limited number of tickets are sold out) will receive their CDs directly from Ticketmaster's "Entertainment To Go" merchandising division. The two new volumes will be available for sale to the general public on May 18, offering a diverse collection of highlights from the 1998 tour, with performances from Sarah McLachlan, Natalie Merchant, Bonnie Raitt, Sinead O'Connor, Queen Latifah, Liz Phair, and Morcheeba, among many others. As with last year's platinum-certified Lilith Fair Volume 1, a portion of the proceeds from sales of Lilith Fair Volumes 2 & 3 will go to the RAINN and Lifebeat charities.
The 1999 Lilith Fair tour is scheduled to kick off in the US on July 9 in Seattle, WA and includes stops at premiere venues including Pasadena's Rosebowl (7/17); Dallas' Starplex (7/21); Atlanta's Lakewood Amphitheatre (7/23, 24); Boston's Tweeter Center (8/3); Detroit's Pine Knob Amphitheatre (8/14,15); Denver's Fiddler's Green (8-28,29); and more. Lilith Fair will feature performances by tour founder, Sarah McLachlan joined in various cities by a diverse roster of top artists including Sheryl Crow; Dixie Chicks; Indigo Girls; Me'Shell Ndegocello; The Pretenders; Monica; Luscious Jackson; Queen Latifah and more.
