CHICKCLICK.COM SPONSORS LILITH FAIR

ChickClick.com, a women's Web site that features hip, progressive content and community, announced today that they will sponsor Lilith Fair, the all-women concert started by singer Sarah McLachlan in 1996. ChickClick.com is the official Community Sponsor, and its free e-mail service, Chickmail, will be the exclusive e-mail provider for the event. ChickClick will share top-level sponsorship with Chevrolet and Tommy Girl cologne.

ChickClick and Lilith Fair come from the same roots and share the same independent, do-it-yourself spirit. Both projects focus on highlighting strong progressive female talent.

ChickClick will be focusing heavily on community building by bridging our online with offline. At each of the 40 tour dates, concert goers will be able to meet and hang out with other readers, exchange ideas with the women who run our affiliate sites, sign up for Chickmail and Chickpages, and receive ChickClick merchandise.

Lilith fans who can't attend one of the 40 shows across the country can follow the tour's highlights on a special Lilith section of ChickClick.com.

"For us, this event is all about providing a forum for our readers to get together offline and for new users to get excited about technology and community," said Heidi Swanson, ChickClick.com. "This event will also be a great place for readers who meet and chat on our message boards to meet in real life."

ChickClick.com will be raising funds for multiple charities including Boarding for Breast Cancer and another undetermined organization dedicated to digital literacy in urban areas.
