Jennifer's Diary

July 08 - Vancouver

The first day has happened and is now behind us. It was a little bit screwy because I had to return a rental car Vanessa and I had used while doing pre-production in Vancouver. So I was away from the venue for two hours which put me out of sorts for the rest of the day.

Upon returning I went immediately to the village stage to catch Adrienne Pierce, the local talent search winner. I was watching for a little while and suddenly realized I knew the bass player! Chris Reeling, a local resident and Vancouverite had agreed, very last minute, to play the opening slot with Adrienne. He was very excited to be there and was looking forward to having a great time at Lilith Fair.

Rest of the night went okay. I had never seen Sheryl Crow perform and was pleasantly surprised by her performance. Not so much in talent as the dynamic aspect to her stage presence. It seemed as though she was having a really great time and that always makes a concert more enjoyable.
