I would say that HOT, STICKY and MISERABLE would be the words to describe the day. Hotlanta certainly lived up to its name.

The intense heat combined with the small attendance made for a very slow day. Today's partner - AID Atlanta did get a great deal of donations. The people were few but they were generous.

Lifebeat took part in today's press conference. We talked about how our involvement with Lilith Fair has enabled us to reach thousands of women and men- especially young women - who we may not have reached otherwise. The whole concept of the village is so empowering. You can come to Lilith and be entertained and then still come away with information that can enrich your life and save your life.
