July 25 - Nashville

Well..well...well

It actually happened; the travelling fair of Lilith experienced it's first, and hopefully last, major storm.

Hats off to all the partiers of Atlanta who's spirits weren't broken by the weather. In fact, in many ways it had the opposite effect; people were running, laughing and dancing in the rain. And far off in the distance...way at the back of the lawn.

Joy gave birth to chaos and a MASSIVE mud slide was created.

I would have given anything at the moment to bolt out of my booth and join the "Mud Crew" but, alas, our tent had been set up in the same exact spot where all slants met and we were forced to rapidly switch to emergency flooding formation.

We spent a good 3 hours wading in that river filled with mud, sweat and beers....It's enough to make even a Lilith Fair employee a tad bit grumpy.

But did "Zen" Jen and Shaye "The Way" lose their cool? OF COURSE NOT!!!

WE PRESERVED! WE CONQUERED!

Anyhoo, Yesterday was also the birthday of a few people in the family so we had a little bus soiree.

Highlights (that aren't incriminating and won't be edited):

• Michael Jackson's "Thriller"
• Sarah and Ash arm wrestling
• Joe and Security Ray getting jiggy with it

Oh what a night!

I hit the bunk as soon as I got on the bus and woke up here...in Nashville...stay tuned.
